What is Rudrabhishek Puja?
Rudrabhishek is one of the most powerful and auspicious Vedic rituals dedicated to Lord Shiva. The word "Rudrabhishek" means the sacred bathing (Abhishek) of the Shivalinga while chanting the Rudra Sukta and the Sri Rudram from the Yajurveda. It is believed that performing Rudrabhishek in the holy city of Kashi has 1,000 times more merit than performing it anywhere else on earth.

Which day is best for Rudrabhishek?
Monday (Somvar) is the most auspicious day for Rudrabhishek as it is Lord Shiva's day. The Pradosh Tithi (13th day of both lunar fortnights) and Shivratri are also very powerful times.
Do I need to fast?
Fasting is recommended but not mandatory. Our pandits will guide you on the appropriate preparation based on your age, health, and specific puja type. Even without fasting, the puja is fully effective.
